2013 Annual Planning Meeting

School will be starting in just a few weeks and that signals the start of a new Cub Scout Program Year. While scouting is a fun and educational experience for scouts and adults alike, it can not happen without a dedicated team planning and coordinating the events throughout the year.  Pack 164 will have a Annual Planning Meeting August 29 from 6-8pm at the Scout Hut.

We will decide the annual calendar of events, Budgets and Fundraising goals, Recruiting efforts etc. I encourage all parents and den leaders to consider attending.  Everyone brings different ideas, skill sets and experiences that can help make this scouting year the best we have every had.  We have quite a few Committee Openings that we would love to find interested people to fill for this year.

Volunteering to help your Pack is often a nameless job but the time and effort is nothing compared to watching your son grow by building character, learning citizenship, developing personal fitness all while having fun with you and his friends.  What most of the current leaders have found is that we wind up having as much fun or more than the scouts.  Thank you for all that you do and I look forward to seeing all of you at the Annual Planning Meeting. As always if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact Alison or myself.

PS. I am not above bribing… Cookies and Drinks will be provided at the meeting!
